Terms of Service

By downloading or using ComicOracle (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. AI Grade Prediction Disclaimer

⚠️ AI grade predictions provided by ComicOracle are estimates only and do not constitute an official grade from CGC, CBCS, PGX, or any other professional grading company. Results may vary. Always consult a professional grading service for definitive grading.

2. Price & Value Information

Comic book valuations displayed in the App are sourced from third-party data providers and AI inference. They are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial or investment advice. Market values fluctuate and past performance does not guarantee future results. ComicOracle is not liable for any financial decisions made based on information provided by the App.

3. Subscription & Billing

Free tier: 5 AI scans per day and 5 AI chat messages per day at no charge.
Pro — Weekly: $4.99/week, includes a 7-day free trial.
Pro — Annual: $29.99/year, includes a 7-day free trial.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your Apple ID account will be charged upon confirmation of purchase and at renewal.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Unused free trial time is forfeited when you make a purchase.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate requests to our servers
Submit images you do not own or have the right to submit
Circumvent usage limits or access controls
Use the App to mislead buyers or sellers about a comic's condition or value

5. Intellectual Property

ComicOracle and its content, features, and functionality are owned by the ComicOracle team and are protected by intellectual property laws. Comic book cover images, character names, and related IP are the property of their respective publishers (Marvel, DC, Image, etc.). ComicOracle does not claim ownership over any third-party intellectual property.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI results will be accurate. Use of the App is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComicOracle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the App.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
